Brooklyn Harkens Back to Dodger Days with Alternate Jerseys

The Brooklyn Nets will wear gray and blue alternate jerseys on March 21, ESPN's Darren Rovell reports:

The jerseys, which resemble those of the Dodgers of the MLB, are gray with a blue collar and blue lettering. The Dodgers, of course, originated in Brooklyn before moving to Los Angeles after the 1957 season. The color scheme confirms the validity of a leak from last November. Notably, these jerseys have sleeves, a growing trend among the NBA's most marketable teams.

The new get-ups will debut on March 21 in a home game against the Boston Celtics and will be worn four more times afterwards during what the Nets, who were just valued by Forbes as the 5th most valuable NBA franchise, are calling "Brooklyn Blue Nights."

Fans can get in on the action, too. Rovell reports that these jerseys will be available from $50 to $110, with player t-shirts costing $32.
