Nets Survive, Snap 5 Game Skid

These last 5 games haven't been fun to watch. The Nets have played terribly during their 5 game losing streak and they didn't play particularly well tonight but it was enough to get the win.

They shot the ball very well tonight in the first half but the Thunder, still without both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had the lead at halftime and led the majority of the second half until the fourth quarter.

Bojan Bogdanovic got fouled early in the fourth and knocked down both of his free throws to put the Nets in the lead for the first time since early in the fourth quarter. Oklahoma City eventually regained the lead at 83-80 but then the Nets went on a 10-0 run to make it a 7 point Brooklyn lead and they didn't look back as they held the lead for the remainder of the game.

The Thunder had a chance to win it at the buzzer or send it into overtime and Reggie Jackson's game-winning three point attempt just rimmed out. Jackson finished with 21 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds.

Deron Williams had a huge impact in the fourth as he hit two big buckets that both warranted an Oklahoma City timeout. D-Will finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Including a beautiful move he put on Andre Roberson.

Brook Lopez had a pretty good game tonight, scoring 16 points grabbing 10 boards and recording 3 blocks. Yes, Brook Lopez recorded a double-double tonight, his first of the season and also the first game this season where Lopez recorded 10 rebounds. The Nets need this play from Lopez game in and game out.

The Nets had a huge lift from Jarrett Jack off the bench once again. Jack tallied 23 points on 8/15 shooting and he also dished out 5 assists. Jack has been playing very well as of late. Mirza Teletovic also added 13 points off the bench.

The Nets won this game tonight with their free throw shooting and their scoring in the paint. Brooklyn scored 42 points in the paint tonight and they were 27/30 from the free throw line.

This is Brooklyn's first win since Joe Johnson made the comments about the Nets being selfish, Nets record is 1-5 since the seven-time All-Star made those comments.

Also, something to note from the game tonight: Mason Plumlee played only 3 minutes tonight while Jerome Jordan played 12 minutes. It's possible Plumlee may of lost his spot in the rotation. We'll see.

Next up for Brooklyn will be tomorrow night in San Antonio against the defending champion Spurs.

Final Score: 94-92 Nets
Most Disappointing Stat of the Game: 18 turnovers
Promising Stat of the Game: 27/30 free throw shooting
Scariest Moment of the Game: Reggie Jackson's game-winning three attempt going in-and-out
Best Moment of the Game: Deron Williams nice move on Andre Roberson
