Nets Tired of Losing

Honestly the Nets  trailing the Chicago Bulls three games to two is surprising based off the major injuries towards the Bulls key players. Joakim Noah has Plantar Fasciitis but has played great with his extended  minutes. Kirk Hinrich has been recognized as the best defender for Deron Williams but it is possible that he might miss the rest of the series due to an ailing calf.

The struggles for the Nets have been more of a mental thing than physical. Gerald Wallace has been banged up but he loses his confidence easlily . This results in the Bulls playing a three on five matchup zone, crowding the areas for Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson. Wallace will have to play like he did in game five, especially since Johnson has his own foot problems.

"I’m out there on one leg, honestly, man," Johnson said on Wednesday at the team's practice facility in East Rutherford. "I can't really push the basketball if I get a rebound. I can't really run pick-and-rolls, so basically I'm a decoy, a spot-up shooter. I can't really do a whole lot. Like I told Deron (Williams) and Brook (Lopez) I'll be the bailout guy if you get into a sticky situation. Just try and find me."

The Nets have to find a way to win in Chicago which has not been done since last season. In addition, the Bulls confidence is high just from pulling out the victory in the triple overtime game on Saturday.

“It was a tough game,” Evans said before the Nets’ shootaround Thursday morning. “That was like an NBA classic. Triple overtime. Even when you have a game like that, even if you lose there isn’t a reason to hold your head down. You were on the road, you went triple overtime. We showed the world that we will not worry about that game. We’re fine with that game.”

Game 6 is a must win for the Brooklyn Nets Franchise. Owner Mikhail Prokhorov demands the Nets to at least make it to the conference finals which is an tall mountain to climb with the current seeding. The Miami Heat are just sitting back and watching and they will be ready. Hopefully they will be playing Brooklyn but it all rests on Deron Williams.

We need a win,” Deron Williams said. “We haven’t won here yet so ... for some reason we haven’t been able to have success. We had chances. Obviously the last time we were here we blew that lead so that is still fresh on our mind and we’re ready to go.”
