Deron Williams confirmed that he's dealing with an injury but didn't want to discuss it. It's clearly affecting his game.

If you remember, Deron Williams didn't dunk until April last season because of his ankles. He had no lift. He has not dunked this season.

Something bothering Deron Williams physically? "Yeah, but nothing I'm going to talk about. I'm out here playing so that's all that matters."

It seems as if Williams is always injured nowadays. Generally its been an issue with his ankles, but again we can't say for sure since he never specified. Is he using this injury as an excuse? It does not look like it. He merely mentioned that he was injured and moved on. If he truly was going to pin any struggles on his injury, he would likely go more in-depth, maybe whine a bit, and then move on.
But he did not. No matter how much you despise Williams, you cannot turn this statement and make it so that he's making excuses. Injuries happen, its part of the game, and it is unfortunate that it keeps coming back to bite him.
