The Brooklyn Nets take on the Milwaukee Bucks to end their seven-game road trip. According to New York Daily News, they will have to do so without the help of Kevin Garnett, who is out due to "back spasms".
Mason Plumlee will start in place of Garnett.
Garnett has been the victim of minute scrutiny under Jason Kidd's supervision. There are times where either he is not allowed to play on a back-to-back, or where his minutes are limited during games, despite on the team's need for him. That's one reason that they signed Jason Collins.
For the season, Garnett is averaging a career-low 21 minutes per game. Unfortunately, Kidd plans to keep it that way throughout the season, and even during the playoffs.
In these 21 minutes a game, Garnett is averaging 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. If this continues, this would be the first season in Garnett's entire career where he averaged single-digits points per game.
