Barclays Center App

Cisco and the Nets have created an "free, fast, and reliable high-density" app for viewers at the stadium.

From their smartphone or any other mobile device, the viewers will be able to preform a variety of different actions. Currently, the custom app will provide information on event information, transportation guide, and a Brooklyn guide. In the future, the app plans on giving the fans and experience they surely will not forget.

They will be able to order their food from a concession stand right from their mobile device. That means less waiting in line, and more watching the game/show. It even plans on showing real-time footage, no matter where you are seated.

From the Cisco news release:
In addition, Cisco StadiumVision®, an innovative digital video and content distribution platform that centrally controls and delivers targeted high-definition video and highly relevant digital content to fans, will power 700 HDTV's and approximately 100 concession menu boards throughout the venue. This technology will provide fans with an all-encompassing multimedia experience ranging from action on the court, to concession specials (all boards update simultaneously and are integrated with point of sale), to out-of-town games and scores, to traffic updates, and much more.
This is really a step up from any other competition. If Yormark can pull this off successfully, Barclays Center will without a doubt be a top arena in sports. The design of the stadium and the amount of influence technology has had on the development of this project is insane.

Just to reiterate, the app is free and works on all mobile devices which have either iTunes or Google Play.
