The Brooklyn Nets announced on Sunday that they have agreed, in principle, to sign PF/C Andrea Bargnani.
#Nets have reached an agreement in principle with free agent F/C Andrea Bargnani, GM Billy King announced today.

Bargnani averaged 15 points and four rebounds in just 29 games with the New York Knicks in 2014-2015. The big knock on Bargnani is that he has never really been able to stay on the court. Since 2011, he never played more than 42 games in a season.
He offers something the Nets need, which is a big man who can shoot the three. At his best, he averaged 21 points per game in Toronto. With the departure of Mirza Teletovic, Bargnani will likely fill that role. Though it's difficult to see him getting much playing time.
Think of this as a low-risk, high-reward signing.
