Nets Interested in Blatche?

The Nets are continuing their search for front court depth and are going to meet with Andray Blatche, someone who could possibly help solidify the Center position. Blatche was amnestied by the Washington Wizards and is considered the most talented player left in free agency. Although he is willing to sign for the veterans minimum, he has had trouble finding a team because of conditioning problems as well as maturity issues. Blatche will have his $7 million salary paid by the Wizards since he cleared waivers without a claim. Blatche, the once promising big man for the Wizards, fell of last year after having his best year in the 09-10 season where he averaged 16 ppg and 8 rpg. It is not certain whether the Nets are going to sign him or are just keeping their options open.
