What was set to be one of the most anticipated home openers this year will be postponed due the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. After a previous announcement by the NBA that the Nets home opener would be good to go, it is reported that Mayor Bloomberg will make an announcement on Wednesday afternoon to declare the postponement of the Brooklyn Nets home opener.\
The reasons are probably due to mass transit not being fixed up fast enough as well as various safety concerns that Mayor Bloomberg deems would ruin the experience.
