The team felt the fall of defensive leader Gerald Wallace after he sprained his ankle in the first regular season game. Fans began to feel once again the sting of the "injury bug" that plagued the Nets team last year.
Have no fear, Crash is back.
After missing the last six games, the Nets PR tweeted that Gerald Wallace will be active for tonight's game against the Sacremento Kings.

Starting lineup vs Kings: Williams, Johnson, Wallace, Humphries, Lopez... Bogans and Shengelia will be inactive.Gerald Wallace is the Nets best defender, and his presence on the court was surely missed. Despite providing the stats in points, rebounds and assists, Wallace provides leadership that it seems most of the players on the team either are not able to do, or do not do. Regardless, that is a problem and could partially be a cause for the consistent third quarter collapses.
