Keith Bogans to Start in Place of Wallace

After spraining his ankle in the Nets' showdown against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, Gerald Wallace will be held out of the game tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Barclays Center. His replacement in the starting lineup will be Keith Bogans, reports Mike Mazzeo of ESPN. This means that Joe Johnson will be moved to the small forward and Bogans will play shooting guard.
Wallace being out hurts the Nets on defense. He is their best defender and now they will be without him. Bogans, a good defender as well, will not have a big challenge in front of him, thankfully. He will more than likely be matched up with Brandon Roy. He is not the same Brandon Roy that we are used to seeing, though. He has slowed down a lot after retiring last season with another knee injury. Bogans will just need to keep him under control on offense, as he can still put the ball in the basket.
