The 2013 All-star reserves were chosen Thursday Night and not suprisingly, their was discontent with the selections.
East Reserves:
Jrue Holiday, Paul George, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, Tyson Chandler, Kyrie Irving and Joakim Noah.
West Reserves:
LaMarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan, James Harden, David Lee, Tony Parker, Zach Randolph and Russell Westbrook.
There will always be people who will not like the selections, but there should be an explanation on why no Brooklyn Nets player made it. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams would have been a stretch but you would think Brook Lopez would make it.
Lopez is fourth in the league in player efficiency rating (PER), behind only LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul. Lopez is the highest scoring center in the league and is the significant reason behind the Nets success this season.
Even MarShon Brooks had something to say.
Naw a center playing better basketball than Brook Lopez right now??? Don't worry, I'll wait...Why do you think Brook Lopez was left off the eastern conference all-star team? Was it a coaches conspiracy?
