Chicago Tribune: "When the Nets turn stupid, they usually stay stupid."

Steve Rosenbloom is the columnist who wrote this piece in the Chicago Tribune. He claims the Nets are stupid because they gave up a lead to an starless Chicago Bulls team and some other reasons even though Chicago displays the same kind of mental mistakes.
"The Bulls defended and rebounded against the Nets, and waited for the Nets to do dumb things. And the Nets did them.

Such as blowing a 16-point lead at home the last time the teams played. Such as allowing Nazr Mohammed to block Brook Lopez down the stretch. Such as choking against a Bulls team missing Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, Marco Belinelli, Richard Hamilton and, of course, Rose.

There was one double-digit result in the series, and the Bulls took that one --- after the Nets blew an 11-point lead. See what I’m saying?

The Nets might not be Sacramento Kings-like dumb, but when the Nets turn stupid, they usually stay stupid."
I laugh at this article because there is no way Rosenbloom could have used any logic to come up with this.  It is strictly attention driven and maybe just a way to make himself or Chicago Bulls fans feel like they have a fighting chance without Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.

The Nets are heavily favored now and it will be an failed season if they do not win the series. I would go as far as to say they should sweep the Bulls or at least close the series in five games. They would have time to prepare for the Miami Heat.

Joe Johnson thinks they can beat the heat and Reggie Evans says Brook Lopez is unstoppable.
"Brook is a whole different person right now,” Evans said. “Can’t nobody stop him. The only person that can stop Brook is Brook. That’s it. Brook is a beast right now. Brook is on a mission right now

“Brook is ready to step up to the plate where if they mention big men, they mention his name,” Evans said. “We can go to him at the end of the game. What big man can you really say you can go to at the end of the game and get a bucket from with confidence? Even if he misses and gets fouled, what big man can you have confidence in like, ‘You know what, I’m going to relax on the free throw line. He’s going to hit this.”
The Nets seem confident and they should be with their first successful season together. Evans does have an point with Lopez. The Bulls have no one to slow him down and  they should take advantage. It's time for the Nets to stop talking and win.
