Mirza Teletovic Looking to Better Days

Mirza Teletovic has had a season somewhat of trials and tribulations. First, he didn't play then P.J. Carlesimo wanted to try something and he inserted him into the rotation. Now he is back out due to Kris Humphries playing a little better and the surprising offense from Reggie Evans. Teletovic understands that he is a long way from understanding the game. His positive mindset will help in Brooklyn and he should only get better. But there has been critics saying Teletovic should go back to Europe, especially after not doing so good in the 14 games of consecutive playing time.

Teletovic Responds:
“I’m not going to give up on NBA. That’s for sure,” Teletovic said. “They ask me, ‘Do you want to go back to Europe?’ No, I’ve done everything there. This is my next challenge. I have two more years on my contract. I like Brooklyn. I would like to stay here.”
The Nets have the fourth seed locked up but they are currently looking to move and take the third seed. Minutes for Teletovic probably will be minimum but the Nets have losing teams on the remaining schedule. If Teletovic can shoot the ball well enough in the minutes he's provided, he will possibly be  looked at as another option instead of a bench warmer.
