Deron Williams Leads Nets to Blowout Victory Over Crosstown Rival Knicks

Tonight the night belonged to Deron Williams, especially in the third quarter when he completely stole the show. Williams had two early turnovers in the first quarter but he settled in nicely afterwards. Deron scored 12 of his 29 points in the third quarter, including a vintage D-Will move where he crossed up Iman Shumpert and finished.

Williams finished the night off with a stat line of 29 points and 6 assists on 10/15 shooting. Just an all-around great game for the Nets point guard.

This game wasn't close at all. Brooklyn led by double digits for the majority of the game. Including leading by 20+ for the majority of the second half. Brooklyn overall looked great on offense tonight. The impact of Lionel Hollins is showing.

The Nets big three of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez nearly all had 20+ points. Deron had his 29, Lopez added 20 while Johnson dropped in 18 points. Lopez also grabbed himself boards. Mirza Teletovic also chipped in 18 points off the bench.

Carmelo Anthony had a horrid shooting game for the Knicks, shooting just 5/20. Melo is known to have these type of games, though. Anthony finished with 19 points.

Nets fans loved this game tonight because it gave them hope that maybe the Deron Williams the Nets traded for is still alive and well. Only time will tell but Deron looked great tonight. Also, Williams had had at least 15+ points and 6+ assists each game this season.

Next up for Brooklyn will be against the Orlando Magic Sunday as they wrap up their 4 game homestand.

Final Score: 110-99 Nets
Most Disappointing Stat of the Game: NONE
Promising Stat of the Game: Deron Williams 29 points on 10/15 shooting
Scariest Moment of the Game: NONE
Best Moment of the Game: Deron Williams crossover and finish plus the foul
