C.J. Watson decided to sign with the Indian Pacers so the Nets were forced to look for a replacement. They have found one for at least a year in Shaun Livingston. It is the veterans minimum which will be a little over $1 million dollars.
Livingston's injury will always haunt him but he has battled back and became a decent role player. It is amazing to see a player come back from breaking his knee while continuing to stay healthy and helpful. Last year, he averaged about 7 points and 4 assist for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Livingston pushes the pace and is also an better passer than Watson. He is also very long(6'7") which can be a positive on the defensive end. With the nets running a fast pace offense, he should fit right in. He will battle Tyshawn Taylor for minutes..
