We've brought back the Throwback Videos, but it'll be on a weekly basis from now on. Who doesn't like a little Nets nostalgia now and then?
Today's throwback video takes us back to 2009. January 2nd of 2009 to be exact. The New Jersey Nets were taking on the Atlanta Hawks at the IZOD Center. The Nets were looking to turn things around after dropping seven of their last eight against a team that had was riding as seven game winning streak.
If you consider it ironic, Lawrence Frank was coaching this game and was ejected after receiving two technicals.
After trailing by 20 early in the game, the Nets fought back and suddenly you have the Hawks winning 91-90 in overtime. 5.3 seconds left. Nets to inbound the ball.
And Vince Carter does his magic.
Were you at the game? Did you watch it live? Comment below if you remember this incredible shot and what you're reaction was!
