The Brooklyn Nets have been, well, plain for the most part. The team announced that the Nets will wear alternate jerseys during five games this season. There was a leak earlier in the season about the new jerseys would look like but it came from an unreliable source. This time, Paul Lukas of UniWatch believes he knows the right design.
The theme of these jerseys are based to be "a lot like their classic Dr. J-era look, but rendered in their current black-and-white color scheme and with their current font."
The biggest difference though, will be that these jerseys will be sleeved, a movement that the NBA has started and appears cannot be stopped.
Lukas does say that he does not know if these are prototypes, the final designs, or just in the first stages of development, but he has confidence that something like this is on the Nets minds as they create their alternate jerseys.
The jerseys will be worn on March 21, March 28 and on April 4, 11, and 15.
