The first domino has fallen. Kevin Garnett has agreed to waive his no-trade clause and will be sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Thaddeus Young.

Garnett will likely finish his hall-of-fame career where it began 20 years ago in Minnesota. The 38 year old Garnett is averaging seven points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes per game this season.
In return, the Nets get 26 year old Thaddeus Young, who they have had their eyes on for years. Young is averaging 14 points and five rebounds per game this season, so that will be a nice upgrade for Brooklyn.
