Sheldon Williams Goes to France

There goes another possible center that the Nets have missed out. Now ex-Net Sheldon Williams is has signed with Elan Chalon, a France-based team.

This will be Williams' eighth new team in seven years, the first time he will not sign with an NBA team. Williams averaged 4.6 points and 6 rebounds in 22 minutes, a career high in playing time. That's equivalent to 9.9 rebounds in 36 minutes. While limited offensively, Williams was a great rebounder and a decent shot-blocker, averaging 0.7 blocks in those 22 minutes, also a career-high.

The Landlord was drafted fifth in the 2006 draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
