This installment of the Throwback Video of the Day goes way back to 1984. The 1983-84 season would mark the first time that the Nets would make it past the first round, and they did it in dramatic fashion. Led by Otis Birdsong, they would upset the defending champion Philadelphia 76ers who's best player just happened to be old friend Julius Erving. They want on to the second round and lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games. This would be the last time that the Nets would get past the first round for nearly 20 years.
