Barclays Center Stealing MSG's Thunder?

Barclays Center has been all the talk recently among the Net-osphere with its grand opening and the special season-ticket holders tour. It looks astounding from the outside and the inside, fulfilling the dreams of most Nets fans who hope to rid the stench of Prudential Center and its lack of energy. Barclays Center is much more advanced and much more appealing. 

But what about that other renovated arena not that far away?

An article from The Wall Street Journal is saying that Madison Square Garden should watch out for Barclays Center as it looks to steal the show. In its first year in Brooklyn, the arena already has scheduled concerts for Jay-Z, Rihanna, Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga,and the Rolling Stones to name a few. having Jay-Z being an impactful minority owner obviously has its benefits.

But its not only concerts, Barclays Center will be home to events from the Harlem Globetrotters and World Wrestling Entertainment. The diversity of major events that has submerged the Barclays Center's schedule is incredible, especially when one looks at where the team and franchise was not even a year ago.
