Brook Lopez Considered As Best Center By Shaq

After getting beef from so many fans around the league, Lopez has been given his due respect, even if it was a little too much. Considered at best the best center behind Dwight, Bynum, Hibbert and Chandler by many, one of the greatest centers of all time proclaimed Andrew Bynum and Brook Lopez as the best centers in the league.

Whether he holds a grudge against Dwight still or not, this is still says wonders about Lopez. Shaq called him one of two "true back to the basket centers" in the NBA, along with Bynum. 

Lopez showed his talents in his rookie and sophomore years very well before being plagued with mononucleosis and calcium deposits in his right arm. This last year he was unfortunate enough to have two foot injuries, although they were unrelated. 

But to have Shaq compliment Lopez and rank him up there as one of the best in the league speaks its volumes disregarding the Dwight bitterness. Shaq could have just as easily said Bynum and Chandler, or Bynum and Hibbert, but he did not. 

Then again, it could have been brought up just to stir something up.
