Gerald Wallace Fined For Flopping

Reggie Evans made his presence in Brooklyn known with his trademark flops to be the first ever NBA player to be fined for flopping. Now Gerald Wallace seems to be catching on as he was tagged with his second flop of the season during the loss to the Miami Heat. He was fined $5,000 for flop. Another offense would lead to $10,000. Then it will reach $15,000, then $30,000 and then possible suspension after the sixth infraction.

Wallace is averaging 9.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 steals for the Nets. But he's had more of an impact on the Nets than just the stats. He's been their defensive leader and brings energy into every play on the court. He is "Crash" for a reason.
