Dwight Howard Still Wants to Play in Brooklyn

ESPN NBA insider Chad Ford has reported that Dwight Howard still prefers to play for the Brooklyn Nets. It is not surprising because he has stated that he did not want to play in Los Angeles because of wanting to "start his own legacy" , and drift away from all type of Shaq comparisons. It is important to not take this seriously because Dwight has been known to be indecisive, displaying that many times last year.

On the contrary, Brook Lopez has been playing great for the Nets. Averaging 18.5 points and 2.5 blocks per game is game is pretty good. Dwight maybe a better Center but their will be no need for him to become a Brooklyn Net. The only logical reason would be if Brook Lopez's health stopped him from progressing into all-star center he is becoming. With Brook being injured now, the question of Dwight Howard becoming a Net isn't impossible, but still slim. I can see a sign and trade with the Lakers but that would be too risky and maybe even asinine on their part.  Simply because they have  already dealt with Andrew Bynum who was always injured. I'll give this whole Dwight with the Nets thing a 15% chance. I just do not see him leaving the Beautiful Los Angeles for less money and bad weather. The season has just started and the Lakers will get better. Don't be surprised if Dwight Howard signs an extension.
