Nets vs Kings Recap: Unsung Heroes

Coming off a double overtime victory, the Nets beat up on the Sacramento Kings and the starters had it good.

The first half was an fast pace, highlighting scoring match. The Nets scored their season high at 36 in the first quarter but the Sacramento Kings would hang around . Brook Lopez, continued his first quarter dominance, touching all aspects of the game. A quick 8 points  a monstrous jam, a swat , and couple of nice touch passes which were demonstrated all in that quarter. John Salmons, had about 13 points. He along with  Jason Thompson who had 8 points helped. The second half was all Nets and the game took off in their favor. The "bench mob"  were the main stars tonight but unusually, Mirza Teletovic was the igniting force ,scoring 9 points in the quarter and even playing defense. MarShon Brooks had a couple highlights scoring 8 in the second , making the art of shooting look effortless.  Andray Blatche would help and the Nets would have 22 bench points at the half. They would finish with a season high, 65.

The Nets maintained their video game like energy. They made contested shots and finished the Kings with defensive stops until the final minutes of the game. The starters didn't play too many minutes because of the large deficits which was great, considering there up and coming schedule. Deron Williams and Joe Johnson didn't play outstanding because of the great team play. Lopez finished with 18 points but only played 16 minutes. This game featured six players on the Nets who scored in double-digits. Despite DeMarcus Cousins scoring 28, the Kings were never in this game after the first quarter. Everyone who was able to play played and they all produced nothing but positives. Even Blatche finished with another double-double

Look for Mirza Teletovic to get more minutes. P.J. Carlesimo spoke on his positive attitude through the tough times this season. He spoke very highly of Mirza so do not be surprised.

Final Score: 113- 93 Nets
Most Disappointing Stat of The Game: Joe Johnson 3 of 7 behind the three point line.
Promising Stat of The Game: Mirza Teletovic scored 9 in the second quarter.
Scary Moment of the Game: None!
Best Moment of the Game: MarShon Brooks splitting the defense.
