The Brooklyn Nets are by no means considered title contenders. Some of their own fans don't even expect them to get out of the first round. To reach that status of eliteness, to garner the respect of fans around the NBA and to be a title contender, Mikhail Prokhorov believes the Nets need just “one more good player”. Considering how the roster is set-up, preferably at the power forward position.
But there is another thing that the Nets need, and that's time.
With the third-highest payroll in the league, signing that good player will be hard to do. Despite this, Prokhorov still believes the Nets will win it all by 2015, just as he had promised.

“...every team have a chance”
“If we have a great team spirit, great passion, we can beat anyone in the league,” he said. “We are not underdogs, that’s for sure.”The Nets have shown at times that they are ready to compete with the best of them, as evident in their blowout win over Chicago in Game 1. Then, they have sub-par performances that remind fans that the team still has ways to go, such as in the atrocious Game 2, when they shot 35.4% from the field.
