"We're just competitors," Robinson said Monday after helping the Bulls even their Eastern Conference quarterfinals at a game apiece. "I don't like him, he don't like me. That's how it's going to be."The reason for this animosity isn't exactly clear, but it appears to be fueling both of these players during the match-ups, as explained by Robinson.
"There's animosity between the two of us, and for us, that's good."
"When you don't like somebody and you're playing against somebody, you want to destroy the other person," Robinson said. "You want to shut that person down. You want to do good, so for me, it's just a lot of confidence."The series match-up has been relatively physical these first two games. As for the Watson-Robinson beef, Watson is shooting 59% from the field while averaging 12 points in 25 minutes and Robinson is averaging 14 points on 52% shooting. Both players have hit big shots for their respective teams throughout the series.
