The Brooklyn Nets (4-12) take on the Memphis Grizzlies (8-7) on Saturday night at 8PM, and may play with even less players.
With Deron Williams, Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko all missing games for at least the past week, the Nets may also be without Paul Pierce as well.
Pierce hasn't been playing even close to what Nets fans expected when the season started. He's averaging a career-low 12.4 point per game on a career-low 36.8% shooting. This is the first season in which Pierce is shooting less than 40% from the field, ever. As the Nets look to turn things around, they can only hope that the amount of injuries falls and the production of players increase.
Even with Pierce, the Nets will likely have their hands full against this Grizzlies team, who play in a conference where only four teams are below .500 as opposed to the Eastern Conference, where only three teams are above .500.

Paul Pierce doubtful tonight with a bruised right hand, per the Nets.

This has been the first time we've heard about any hand injury for Pierce, but at this point, who isn't injured?Pierce hasn't been playing even close to what Nets fans expected when the season started.
