Considering the fact that he's been injured, Terry is shooting 39% on three pointers. That's pretty incredible given the injuries to Terry this year. Still, there are places for improvement. Terry is shooting just 42% on two-point field goals. Terry has to be able to spot up and make the long jumpers right in front of the three point arc. Terry's assists are also down, at only 1.3 per game. Hopefully with a healthier body Terry will become more of a distributor and playmaker. Terry's steals are also down at a mere 0.2 per game. The Nets need to create more turnovers and although Terry is getting up there in age, his long tenure in the league should enable him to get some steals here and there on the younger and less tenured players.
All in all, we hope that Jason Terry comes back with his engine fixed, his wings straight and all of his baggage intact. The Jet must be prepared for liftoff in January.
