Springfield Armor Takes Two

With P.J. Carlesimo  tightening the roster as the playoffs near, a couple of players will most likely not see any playing time. As of now, Kris Humphries is out and two of the Nets rookies never really played unless there was an convincing victory.General Manager Billy King announced Tornike Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor will be assigned to the Springfield Armor. This will be the fourth time for Shengelia and third for Taylor.

Tyshawn Taylor was provided minutes due to Deron Williams being injured and he productive. The game against the Pacers was big and he proved that he can play in this league but maybe just not with the Nets who have multiple guards. He has averaged 1.8 points in the NBA but dominated the D-league with 25 points and 7 assist. He and Shengelia will be able to compete and have fun. Shengelia averaged 26 points, 9 rebounds, and even recorded a triple-double. He has not had the same opportunity as Taylor in the past but he will get a shot. Hopefully, the Nets will develop these players into their potential selves.
