Joe Johnson Misses Practice Due to Plantar Fasciitis

Brooklyn Nets' Joe Johnson sat out Wednesday's practice resting his left foot, which has plantar fasciitis. As of now, Joe Johnson has been declared a game-time decision for Game 3 and is listed as questionable. Johnson missed five games with the same injury during the regular season, but it appears to have gotten worse.
“It may have been a little bit of plantar fasciitis in February when it first started,” Johnson said. “Now it’s deep into the plantar fasciitis."
If Johnson sits for the third game, that could spell trouble for the Nets, who will be on the road and without one of their premier offensive threats. In Game 2, Joe Johnson almost single-handedly kept the Nets in the game by scoring 10 of his points in the 4th quarter. With it being the playoffs, Johnson says he will try to fight through it and play.
"It’s just something I’ll have to fight through.”
"I'm a little sore, but I'm going to be able to give them what I've got,"
"This is what we played the regular season for, and we fought so hard to get to this point. To have a little nagging injury like this, man, it's tough. But it's part of it," Johnson said. "It lingered here and there. I've had my good days and my bad days. It's just something that needs rest, and I don't have time for it right now."
Joe Johnson's injury is similar to the one that is limiting Joakim Noah. However, given their different styles of play and positions, each is affected differently so one cannot really guess how Joe Johnson based on Noah's play.

Even if he's listed as game-time, not only does he himself expect to give it a go, so does Bulls' coach Tom Thibodeau and Bulls' guard Jimmy Butler.
"Oh, he'll play. Don't worry," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.
With the Nets going on the road and the series being tied at 1-1, fans certainly hope so.
