It's game two of the regular season and the Nets matched up against the defending champion Miami Heat for the home-opener in Brooklyn. Coming out of the half, the Nets went berserk and came out firing. They outscored Miami 31-20 in the third quarter thanks to Paul Pierce's 11 third quarter points. The intensity level never fluctuated, in fact it increased during the second half. The fourth quarter was an all-out war, but the Nets were relentless and didn't allow Miami to make a comeback.
